School Council

The School Council is a group that meets regularly to discuss ways we can make our school the best it can be. It is run by the children for the children.

The Council is made of representatives from Year 2 upwards. Classes elect children to represent them by secret ballot. These representatives meet regularly and bring up agenda items given by their classmates. The minutes are kept and any issues arising are then talked through in assembly. The School Council helps make sure children get a chance to share their opinions and influence decisions which concern us.

This year the Council have organised Sporty Fundraiser Days to raise money for new playtime equipment. The Council also arrange fundraising days with a focus upon local, national and global charities.
